Getting up slightly earlier this morning and ventured to a bar where we had breakfast. Pat and Andy tried the Irish full breakfast, J-M had the Irish mini breakfast and Alex had a ham and cheese omelet. After breakfast we headed to Dublin Castle where we showed up just in time to meet up with a tour that was starting. The castle tour was interesting especially the part where we went underground to see some archaelogical digging of some of the original castle. The majority of the pictures from today are from Dublin Castle. After the castle tour, we head to St. Patrick's Cathedral and paid the admission fee to go in and look around. They still hold service here but luckily not while we were there. From the cathedral we decided it was time to find lunch. We found a bar call the "Legal Eagle" where we had sandwiches and drinks. Ordering of sandwiches also ended up setting off the fire alarm in the place as the toaster caught on fire. After lunch we walked along the river again to get to the Jameson Distillery for another tour. This tour was led by a guide through some rooms that explained the process of making the Jameson Irish Whiskey. At the end of the tour was a tasting of their whiskey. We also met a nice couple from D.C. while we were enjoying our drink. After a pre-dinner rest at the hotel, we headed out to find food and ended up at a tapas bar called The Port. With some sangria and a bunch of different small entrees shared it was a good meal. Afterwards, on the hunt for cake, we ran across a place called Bewley's, which appeared small from the front, but ended up being a rather large restaurant. Back to hotel at this point as it is going to be an early morning tomorrow.
