5/8/2012 Late start today, finally getting out and about at noon. First up was lunch at The Larder. Two and half hours later, we finish up and move on to walk to the Guinness Brewery for their tour. A walk through the various exhibits ended with a pint of Guinness at the Gravity Bar with a beautiful 360 degree view of Dublin. After heading back to the hotel to freshen up we ventured back out again to find dinner. We first tried the Porter House but it was pretty full so we ended up at The Shack which was a traditional Irish restaurant. Lamb shank, Ireland stew and fish 'n chips were ordered. Afterwards we headed back to the Porter House for some beers and live music, all of which was typical American cover band fare. We'll have to find some real Irish music somewhere on this trip.
