No description Today mostly involved driving across Austria, through Lichtenstein and
into Switzerland where we would stay for another couple of nights.
After waking up and packing and checking out we headed out of town
toward the Principality of Lictenstein. It's only 62 square miles
in all. We ate lunch here and got our passports stamped to prove
we were here. Also wandered around for a while and bought some things.
After Lichtenstein we headed over the Rhein River to Switzerland.
We were headed to a small town called Lauterbrunnen which is south
of Interlaken in a beautiful vally with cliffs on both sides and lots
of waterfalls. Once we got to Lauterbrunnen we drove to the end of the
valley to a small town called Stechleberg and came back to Lauterbrunnen
to check into our "Gast Haus" (Guest House). After checking in we
headed out to find some dinner. We stopped at a nice little restaurant
and had some cheese and meat fondue. That was really cool. After
dinner it was time to head back with our full stomachs and go
to sleep. Tomorrows plan is to tackle the Jongfraujoch, "The Top
of Europe."
